On November 23 and 24, 2016 economic leaders and senior politicians will gather at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce to attend the leading Sino-European business conference “Hamburg Summit: China meets Europe”. We are happy to offer our ACBA-members a 50% discount on the normal ticket fee of 3,600 € + VAT. In case of a booking prior to 14th October you are eligible for the early-bird ticket at 1,206 € +VAT.

For the upcoming conference a Vice-Premier of the People's Republic of China, Jyrki Katainen, Vice-President of the European Commission, will attend the conference as guests of honour. We also expect a Federal Minister from the Federal German government. The Chinese co-hosts of the "Hamburg Summit", the industrial organisation CFIE and the service association CATIS, will again bring along high-ranking business delegations to Hamburg.


The panel discussions and keynote speeches at the "Hamburg Summit" 2016 will focus on China´s "new normal" and its impacts on European companies engaged in China business, China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative, the internationalisation of China's Renminbi, bilateral investments between the EU and China as well as the impacts of a digital economy in China and Europe.

First held in 2004, the conference has become the most relevant European dialogue platform on Sino-European relations. Due to the participation of Li Keqiang, Prime Minister of the People's Republic of China, as well as more than 600 participants the last "Hamburg Summit" which took place on October 10 and 11, 2014 was the most successful in the history of the conference so far.
